Sport Hotels Resort & Spa Andorra was founded around 1972 with Esports Calbó, the first ski store in Soldeu (Andorra) and known by most of the tourists who choose Andorra as their holiday destination.
From then on, the family business began to grow, founding the Calbó Apartments later El Duc, a hotel-restaurant with 18 rooms.
Fifteen years later, Sport Hotel was born, the first 4 star hotel in the resort. After that, Sport Hotel Village, Sport Wellness Mountain Spa and Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa were included, giving rise to the first and only resort in Andorra, Sport Hotels Resort & Spa Andorra, with 5-star hotels at the foot of the slopes of the Grandvalira ski resort.
Having a customer service soul and living with hostelry as way of life, the Areny family has always lived for the customer. From the very beginning with Casa Calbó - which in the first decade of the 20th century was already an inn to accommodate travellers on their way to France or Spain - to the current resort - with its 3 hotels, wellness centre, gastronomic restaurants, etc. - the commitment to quality, service and family treatment has remained unwavering, making its customers feel like part of this great family.
